Nike VaporMax

After buying a pair of Nike VaporMaxs at the end of spring break, I quickly learned that I would not be able to wear them outside due to the COVID-19 quarantine.  So instead, I modelled and rendered them. 

The shoe itself proved to be a challenge to model with many parts to the hard surface soles and the flyknit upper. I approached it by using subdivision modelling in Cinema 4D, and later moved to smaller adjustment, retopo, and UV mapping in Z-Brush. Texturing was all done using assets created in Substance Designer and mapped using Substance Painter.
